Upon activating your Vetinsurance 30-day trial certificate, your healthy puppy or kitten will receive:

No lifetime payout limits on coverage for diagnostic tests, surgeries hereditary conditions and medications should they become sick or injured within the next 30 days.
Entrusting your veterinarian’s assesment, we are waiving the typical waiting periods.

The certificate must be activated by 11:59 p.m. the day following the veterinary exam. You are not required to provide payment information to activate a trial certificate and there is no obligation to purchase a Vetinsurance plan.

Active Vetinsurance trial certificate holders have the option to continue their 30-day trial into a full policy before the certificate expires.

If you activated your certificate BEFORE December 27, 2009:
If you activated your certificate before December 27, 2009 and you wish to continue coverage for your pet, please call and speak with a Member Specialist at 1-800-930-1019.

If you activated your certificate AFTER December 27, 2009:
You already have a Trupanion Policyholder Area account. You just need to sign in to the Policyholder Area to continue the process.
